Lure Colour Guide
See the colour selections available on the CWolf Lures site. Browse the examples below to help you choose the colour you want when ordering your lure. For any colours or combinations not listed please contact me to discuss.

Fluoro Pink
A good all round option day or night. Particularly effective at dawn and dusk.
Fluoro Red
Works well for me at night and first and last light. Please note the image is of a red/pink combination this selection will be entirely red.
Fluoro Orange
I don't have an image to match the title. This option will be entirely in the orange colour shown.

Fluoro Yellow
A popular choice. It has done well for me under a full moon in calm conditions.
Fluoro Green
A colour that has done well for me in early morning surf.
Red/Pink
Darkness, first and last light is when this has worked well for me.

Pink/White
My first option in many situations. It seems to attract particular attention in well aerated water and strong current.
Yellow/White
Moonlit or bright sunny conditions is when I will turn to this option.
Green/White
Less yellow tones than the chartreuse. A bright green back over a white belly.

Chartreuse/White
I don't agree with the saying "If it ain't chartreuse it ain't no use" but it is a great all round option.
Fiery Orange/Yellow
There is something about this pattern effect in a number of colour combinations that seems attractive to bass. This one has been a popular choice.
Fiery Black/Pink
This pattern seems to work particularly well in this colour combo over broken ground in spring. Spawning ragworm?

Solid White
You can't go wrong with white. Day or night it is a popular colour choice. It can work particularly well under a big bright moon.
UV White Holo
This is a flourescent/UV reactive white with holographic glitter. Effective any time but my first option under a bright moon.
White Touch of Pink
Some fluoro pink highlights to a pearl white body. A good all round choice.

Pink Nacre
More of an off white, pearl effect than the touch of pink above. More reflection for bright, clear water conditions.
Wonderbread
A popular, proven colour for day or night.
Solid Black
For me, black or black red sparkle are essential options for low light/dark conditions.

Black Red Sparkle
Not sure if the sparkle makes any difference to the bass but it certainly doesn't put them off. My first choice on a dark night.
Black/White
A colour combination that has worked in all conditions for me.
Blue/White
I have confidence in this colour choice in any conditions but it has been particularly productive in the surf.

Blue Cotton Candy
The ever popular cotton candy with a blue back. Good choice day or night.
Sandeel
For those who prefer a more natural baitfish representation, an approach I often turn to in calm conditions.
Mullet
A popular natural pattern which has produced well for a good number of CWolf customers.

Smelt
Another representation of a baitfish common around the British and Irish coastline. I often turn to a more natural/subtle colour choice in calm conditions.
Sewin
I have caught alot of fish on this colour and turn to it wherever sea trout smolts might be present.
Silver Backed
A simple but effective baitfish representation. One of my favourite first light choices.

Patterned Silver/Grey
This has been a popular choice for daylight surf. It is not one of the store options so get in touch if it appeals.
Blue Mackerel
A pattern for when joeys are on the bass's menu. Not a store option, contact me if it appeals.
Pink Cotton Candy
A colour combo first requested by a well known Cornish angler whose success with it has led to it being a popular choice. Not a store option, contact me if it appeals.
