130mm Pencil Popper

The 130mm CWOLF Pencil Popper was designed to suggest a sandeel or other small baitfish disturbed and skittering across the surface.
Unlike many broader-bodied pencil poppers, it has a long, slim profile. It is relatively heavy for its size, helping it cast well and remain usable in a lively sea.
The lure sinks when left at rest, then rises to the surface as soon as you begin retrieving. Try a fairly brisk retrieve, working the rod tip with short, sharp movements to make the lure skip and dart across the water.
The 22g version is a useful starting point in a smaller swell; the 27g version can be worth trying when conditions are more lively. As with any lure, adjust the pace and action to suit the conditions and the response of the fish.
Available in a range of CWOLF colours, with a choice of Silent or Internal Rattle. Supplied without hooks; optional assist rigging is available separately. Assist hook size #1 for this pencil popper.
